He is one of those rare and precious intellectuals of the Telugu cinema who has got a multi-faceted set of skills in him. He is none other than Tanikella Bharani and recently, he ended up displaying some of them far away in Malaysia much to the delight of the local Telugus there.
All this was part of the get together of the Malaysia Telugu Association and Tanikella unveiled his new devotional audio album. Amongst the many interesting songs, the number ‘Naa Manasu Kothi Ra Rama, Maruthi Ga Cheyi Sreerama’ caught the attention of many. Tanikella wrote the lyrics for all numbers of this devotional audio album. The album was release don the hands of Nandamuri Balakrishna at the most famous Putrajaya in Malaysia.
Some time back, Tanikella came up with another album titled ‘Naalona Sivudu Galadu’ and that became a super hit. It is not just the lyrics but Tanikella has proved his mettle in writing as well. Some of his books such as ‘Aata Kadha Ra Siva’ ‘Endharo Mahanubhaavulu’ ‘Parikhini’ are some of his finest creations. That way, Tanikella has carved a brand of his own in poetry and prose and emerged as a literary personality as well.
